Reflecting on the Journey to Retirement
As retirement draws closer, our minds begin to reflect on the steps we have taken to arrive at this point and time.
In the Beginning…
Beginnings are often elusive, their significance only revealed in hindsight. Where does a story truly start? Is it in the moment we first draw breath, or does it reach further back—woven into the unseen, ordained before time revealed its course?
Even before Science could name it, God knew!
Science tells us that a woman is born with all the eggs she will ever have, her potential for life already resting within her from the start. But long before science could name it, God had already known. He had already formed me, set me apart, woven my being in the quiet sanctuary of my mother’s womb.
“For You formed my inward parts; You knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are Your works; my soul knows it very well.” – Psalm 139:13-14
And so, my story unfolds—not merely my own, but part of something greater. The past whispers its lessons, and the future stirs on the horizon. The journey has only begun.
